Public Records Response with link to emails: "anti-Papillion La Vista Community Schools (PLCS) group"

March 14, 2023

Ms. Eby,

I am sending this email in response to your original public records request, dated February 22, 2023.  You requested, "valerie.fisher@plcschools.org,andrew.rikli@plcschools.organnette.eyman@plcschools.org  starting from August 1, 2022, to February 21, 2023, with the following search terms:

·         “Weathering the Storm Through Effective Communication

Masks, CRT, COVID, and library books were just a few of the topics that suddenly swarmed board meetings of this suburban school district in Nebraska. Mass protests, public comment, social media, and public records requests were some of the tactics the anti-Papillion La Vista Community Schools (PLCS) group used to attempt to disrupt operations. Find out how PLCS used best practices in effective communication and community engagement to weather the storm. Participants will leave the session with specific communication and community engagement strategies along with ideas to structure board of education meetings for success.”

·         “National School Boards Association Conference”

·         “nsba”

·         “Orlando”

·         “Co-presenter”

Below is a link to a google folder with the emails you have requested below.  Also, attached is an invoice that outlines the charges as agreed in the email communication on March 9, 2023.  If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
