Papillion LaVista Community Forum (PLCF) is made up of people that live in the Papillion LaVista Community Schools District (School District 27) that want to learn, participate, and be informed on what is happening in our school district.

Hello, I’m Loan Eby, the facilitator of PLCF. I have lived in Papillion, NE since 1997. My daughter graduated from Papillion LaVista Highschool and my son graduated from Papillion LaVista South Highschool. When my kids were in school, I was more of a passive participant in Papillion LaVista Community Schools. In June of 2020, I started attending Papillion LaVista Community Schools Board of Education meetings and now I attend on a regular basis. I have learned so much from being at the school board meetings and navigating the Papillion LaVista Community Schools website. Our district does an amazing job of providing information and resources; we just need to know how and where to look for it.

Through conversations with many people that live in the community, they seem to want to learn more about our school district and be informed about what the school board is doing. This was the catalyst for me to start the Papillion LaVista Community Forum (PLCF).

The Papillion LaVista Community Forum is comprised of anyone that would like to be informed, learn, educate, and participate in what is going on in our school district. All content for the forum will be available to the public using what is available on our district website. The Events Page (coming soon) will have workshops, events, and meetings all open to the public. So, please check back to learn more about what’s going on with PLCF!
